01 / YOUR STARTING POINT

Where are you starting from?

Choose the closest match. Use it to plan your next checks, not as an admission decision.

Your school qualification sets the starting point.

For a Spanish Grado, the university’s admission requirements determine which assessment and application steps you need. Get these clear before choosing an intake.

UNEDasiss · international admission
  1. 01Check how your school qualification is treated for the selected university and region.
  2. 02Ask which UNEDasiss services, subject tests or recognition procedures are required.
  3. 03Map the application calendar alongside the required language evidence.
Keep in mind

UNEDasiss accreditation is not an admission offer. Requirements differ, so confirm the services and subjects needed before paying for them.

02 / THE REAL COST

A Spanish shortlist needs more than a course title.

Three details can change the value—and the practicality—of an offer.

01

The fee may depend on more than nationality

Public fees vary by region, level and applicant status; private institutions set their own fees. Ask for the complete programme price and any per-credit or repeat-module charges.

02

The teaching language deserves a close read

Spanish is the main teaching language, with English options especially at postgraduate level. Check every required module and placement rather than relying on the language of the brochure.

03

Housing makes the budget local

Compare a real room quote, deposit, bills and commute for each campus. Madrid, Barcelona and a smaller university city can produce quite different personal budgets.

03 / MAKE THE NUMBERS YOURS

What would your first year look like?

Change the example figures to match your shortlist. See the expenses and the cash you may need to set aside.

04 / FUNDING THE MOVE

Find the right kind of support.

Start with an affordable study plan. Then explore funding that matches your background.

01

University awards, with conditions

Start with the institution and your programme. Check nationality, residence, academic results and the deadline; public student-aid schemes are not automatically available to every newly arriving international student.

02

Erasmus Mundus, course by course

Selected joint master’s programmes can offer competitive scholarships to applicants worldwide. Check whether the actual consortium includes a Spanish study period and read that programme’s current funding call.

03

Compare the net cost

A smaller confirmed fee reduction on a suitable course can be more useful than an uncertain larger award. Record tuition after funding, the award duration and the date funds arrive.

During eligible higher education

The study authorisation for eligible higher education can allow work compatible with studies, up to 30 hours a week. Other study or training categories have different conditions; check your own authorisation.

A graduate search period

Eligible graduates with at least an EQF Level 6 qualification can apply for a job-search or business-start-up residence authorisation for up to 24 months. Conditions and application timing apply.

The key distinction after graduation

That job-search residence authorisation does not itself permit work. A suitable work authorisation is needed before starting employment or the relevant business activity.

06 / KEEP YOUR PLAN CURRENT

Worth knowing before you apply.

Reviewed guidance and official publishers to follow as your plan develops.

AFTER GRADUATION

Time to search is not permission to work.

Spain’s eligible-graduate job-search residence route can last up to 24 months, but employment needs a suitable authorisation.

BEFORE YOU APPLY

Check the exact award and entry process.

Use RUCT for official university degrees. For school-leavers, the university should confirm the qualification-assessment and application steps you need.

A little more clarity.

Useful answers to bring into your next conversation.

Yes, there are English-taught programmes, particularly at postgraduate level. Confirm the language of every compulsory part of the course and the proficiency needed for placements.
