GERMAN / STEP BY STEP

Build a level you can use.

German exams are offered at levels A1 to C2. A programme may require a particular level or certificate; use that requirement to plan your learning and your exam timing.

03MAKE LEARNING FIT YOUR LIFE

A goal. A rhythm.
A way to improve.

  1. 01

    Start with your level

Bring your goal, any previous test results and the time you can set aside. Use that starting point to identify the skills to work on first.

  2. 02

    Choose a workable plan

Discuss the learning format, pace, duration and fees for the support you choose. Allow space for your own practice between sessions.

  3. 03

    Practise, review, repeat

Use feedback to work on specific difficulties. Revisit your progress and adjust your preparation as the next deadline approaches.

A LITTLE MORE CLARITY

Good questions.
Useful answers.

Can I begin German from scratch?

Yes, you can discuss a starting plan as a beginner. Tell us why you want to learn and when you hope to use the language so we can help you identify the level and preparation to work towards.

Do I need IELTS for every overseas route?

The required evidence of English depends on the institution, profession and route. Start by checking those requirements; we can help you understand the preparation relevant to your plans.

How long will my preparation take?

That depends on your starting point, target and practice time. We’ll discuss the proposed format, duration, support and fees before you enrol in a service.

Can I focus only on interviews or communication?

Yes. You can begin with a specific skill rather than a complete overseas plan. Bring the situations you want to improve and we’ll discuss how to prepare.
